Privacy Policy
Effective August 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what SiteSpawners collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website, our checkout, our contact form, and the websites we rent to shops. It does not cover third-party sites we do not control.
01Who is responsible
SiteSpawners is the business that decides how personal information on this service is handled. Questions, access requests, and deletion requests go through our Contact page. We operate in the United States. If you use the service from elsewhere, you understand your information is processed in the U.S.
02Information we collect
We collect information you give us, including:
- Name, business name, email, phone, and town
- Type of work, service area, and notes about the shop
- Photos, logos, copy, hours, and other materials for the site
- Plan choice and billing status
- Messages sent through the contact form
We also collect limited technical data when you visit: browser type, device, pages viewed, referring URL, approximate location derived from IP address, and timestamps. If we use cookies or similar storage, they remember a session, a demo order, or basic preferences so the site works.
03How we use it
We use this information to:
- Spawn, host, and maintain your rented website
- Process subscriptions, renewals, failures, and cancellations
- Answer inquiries and provide support
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Improve the service and keep records we are required to keep
- Send service messages about your order. We will not sell your contact list or blast unrelated ads to it.
04Payments
Card payments are handled by a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, a truncated card brand/last-four if the processor provides it, and an amount and date. We do not store full card numbers, CVV codes, or magnetic-stripe data on our servers. The processor’s privacy terms apply to the card details you type into their form.
05When we share information
We share personal information only:
- With vendors who help us run the service (hosting, email, payment processing, domain or DNS) under contracts that limit their use
- If you ask us to (for example, connecting a form or map)
- To comply with law, a valid legal request, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service
- In a sale, merger, or transfer of the business, with notice where the law requires it
Content you ask us to publish on the rented site is public. Do not send us secrets you do not want on the internet.
06We do not sell personal information
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and, where the law requires, give you a way to opt out.
07Cookies and local storage
This site uses cookies and local storage that are needed for it to function: keeping a checkout session, remembering a completed demo order on your device, and basic security. We do not run a third-party advertising pixel on this marketing site. You can block cookies in your browser; some features (including checkout) may then fail.
08How long we keep it
We keep account, billing, and site-content records for as long as the rental is active and for a reasonable time after (generally up to seven years for tax and dispute records, shorter for routine messages). Demo checkout records stored only on your device stay until you clear them. When we no longer need information, we delete or de-identify it.
09Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and access limited to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. You also have a duty to send us materials through the channels we provide and to tell us promptly if you think an account or payment method was misused.
10Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, or to export Your Content as described in the Terms of Service. Use the Contact page and tell us what you want. We will verify the request and respond in a reasonable time. We may keep information the law requires, and we cannot un-publish copies already indexed or saved by others.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law (for example, to know, delete, or appeal a denial). We will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights. Authorized agents may submit a request with proof of authority.
11Children
This service is for adult business operators. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child gave us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12Rented sites
A shop’s rented website may collect visitor information (for example, a “call us” click or a contact form). That shop is responsible for telling its own visitors how that information is used. Unless we agree in writing to act as a processor for a specific form, messages sent to the shop are the shop’s responsibility once delivered.
13Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Effective” date at the top will change. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the service after a posting means you accept the updated policy. If a change needs consent under the law, we will ask for it.
